September 10, 201412 yr We used to. Apple has moved on from Gorilla Glass to Sapphire so we don't have glass in the iPhone any longer. Gorilla Glass is used in pretty much every other smartphone especially Samsung smartphones. That's part of the reason we no longer make glass for Apple. They want as much exclusive rights to all the components of their phones that they can get.Is Sapphire much different or just their version of Gorilla?

September 10, 201412 yr Is Sapphire much different or just their version of Gorilla? Their version of Gorilla IMO. They claim it is harder and unbreakable but everyone says that. None of them are shatterproof so unbreakable means very little to me.
September 10, 201412 yr I have a 5s now. I've had the 3,4,4s and now the 5s. I love iPhones and I'm comfortable with it. I'm not a tech nerd and have no need for a phone to code or whatever it is kids do with them. I have an S5 as a work phone. I hate that stupid thing.

I will say I'm happy iphone finally increased its screen size. I almost felt like they were being stubborn about it for awhile. The battery life is what I'm most interested in . I like to have fun. But if apple came out with something innovating again I'd switch back.

If I wanted an iPad or a tablet I'd buy one.
