He was going to do the basketball one. He didnt want to play football from what i heard from a few of the kids. But who from Newport would you leave out? I know it would be hard to pick 5 with the team they had. But anyway good luck to the kids going to play. I hope to make it to the game, when they decide were it is going to be played.

Since Holmes coached the East team last year I know for a fact that Dixie is in the east. You are correct my man, Preston got the MVP for the east and I believe Stellman for the west. I would have liked to have seen more Holmes players at this years game, but with all of the injuries and all I guess that won't be the case. Good luck to Roberts and German though.

Metzger, Atchley, Gumble, and Huenfled will be playing for Dixie for sure, not sure about the rest. I'll let you know.

No. that's Bricking. Brady started the year at QB and then moved to WR and did a phenominal job. He was our clutch reciever. A truely amazing athlete. Bricking played JV the first two games and then became the starting varsity QB for the rest of the season. We had five seniors start last year, the rest of the team is back.

I would think so if the field isnt under construction at the time. They usually do hold practices at the school the teams coach is from.
