Same thing that happens with a lot and no one ever says anything! Jenna play for the NDA head coach over the summer for SHining Star. Now she is going to NDA. Like it or not AAU is used for a recruiting tool to try and get players to your school. I DO NOT have a problem with it. Again, Jenna is a wonderful kid and i wish her all the success in the world.

 

So you know this was recruitment for a fact? You a part of the recruiting talks between the coach, Jenna and her parents? What benefit is Jenna or her parents getting besides a hefty tuition bill and a top of the line education? You know for certain she never made a visit of NDA before she started playing for Foust?

I spoke to a few parents at the soccer game last night and they are saying they are under the radar which is good by them but feel they are 1-3 when February comes around. I didn't realize who they all had. Great mix of seniors and under classman. None played a fall sport which means they are ready to go.

Just my opinion (which softballfan14 points out...i have plenty), I say they will still be a very solid 4 that can beat any of the top 3. I still think because of guard play and style, they may struggle with the top 3. However, if they mean the top 3 by March because 3 of the top 4 are from the same district, then if they make it through the district, going into the region they would be top 3 in my opinion. That's where the problem starts for those 3 teams...only two will pass to the region. Tough for those teams, but nice for the rest of the region.

 

ND lost a lot of talent and leadership and all the teams that are in the top could play right with them last year and one of them beat them. They will definitely go under the radar, but they aren't sneaking up on anyone! They are ND.

Jenna will make a big difference this year. Her shinning stars team had a couple NCC girls on it. I watch them play a few times and they looked pretty good. They picked up the Brock girl from dixie later in the season and won their last 3 tourneys. Jeana is an outstanding point guard.

Agree. She will be a big factor. Their best guard may be the freshman that plays AAU over in Cincinnati for ex UC player Keith Starks and cinti finest I have seen her play 3-5 times but don't know her name She is a 2 guard for them but also had very high pg skills and can shoot from 20+ and off the dribble.

Look forward to seeing nda vs henderson county on the dec 21st in Owensbro.
