They still do. Lose another during Glasgow. I think they get a couple back this week. As far as what happened...............they played Bowling Green and a strong Glasgow team that could contend for a state title! Lol

They need to get healthy and cut down on Penalties and turnovers.

Even without the injuries I question whether Mercer County is a top 15-20 team. Very young when 100% healthy. They are a year or two away from being a top 10 team IMO.

True. I still think they are too small at too many spots and their line play needs to improve as well. I'll also believe Drew Davis will be consistently healthy when I see it. I still say a year or two away.

Mercer may be a top 5 team in 4a next year, when Boyle, Lex Cath, HHS, and Cov Cath are gone, it is not happening this year, they will be 3~7 at the end of the year, if they beat Marion.

No way Mercer is Top 5 this year...next year, I can see with the mass exodous of the East Powers in 4A, but no way this year...in fact, look at their remaining schedule after this week where I have little doubt they'll beat West Jess.

I see two more possible wins on that remaining schedule (Marion/Taylor)...At best, I see Mercer finishing this year 4-6 and at worst 2-8. That's a tough schedule they're playing and it doesn't bode well for a team that seems to be banged up.
