What are your thoughts....... is this good for all?

The Camels are Highlands’ lone non-district opponent from Campbell, Boone and Kenton Counties this year......

That changes next year. The Bluebirds take on five non-district teams from the northern three Kentucky counties. They battle Simon Kenton, Cooper, Boone County, Campbell County and Ryle in non-district action.

Wow, I didn't know that Cooper and HHS will play eachother next year. I'm stoked!

Was this done for money purposes? (less travel expense?). I'd think this will hurt the Highlands program.

Same district next year I thought.

For years all we heard was "Nobody in NKy will schedule us". Now your going to complain now that is no longer the case? Although I wish Nky 6a was more competitive. FYI, I believe next year there will be 2 6a districts in NKy as both Connor and Cooper move up.

Interesting that all of a sudden everybody in NKy is willing to schedule the Birds.

I believe Dixie is in the same district as HHS next year. I believe Cooper is 6A next year.

Why do you think everyone will schedule the Birds the next couple of years.........hmmmmm? It's not real hard to figure out..

They are getting a new Nike contract for new unis...Does that matter?

Do explain your comment. Maybe it is the same reason why Dale retired. Here is my thing, NKY teams got ripped from the Highlands faithful for not playing them. At one point Ryle was the only non-district team who played them. Now Campbell County plays them and they still get no credit. Maybe Highland's contracts are up with the other teams and THEY want to play the local teams and not the other way around.

CC has received a ton of credit for scheduling the Birds. Birds have always wanted to schedule local.

When I say CC gets no credit, I am talking about game play when they held them scoreless for 3 quarters, everything was HHS did this or didn't do that, HHS was never nervous, blah blah blah, how about CC made the adjustments and played better. Sorry I didn't explain that all that well. That is my point in my comment about their game contracts, maybe they were up and wanted to play local teams.

If I was a gambling guy, I'll say next year SK will be in a rebuilding year.

Actually, this would the year that SK would be rebuilding. They are starting a sophomore QB and have an injury prone RB. However, they have gotten several under the radar transfers from Scott, Holmes, Campbell and Boone. Players that are not superstars, but contribute and add significantly to depth. The neighboring programs to the east of Independence are weak and SK is open enrollment. Next year's team will be better just because of the maturation of the QB and the improvements in team speed.

Who is their transfer from Campbell?

Don't think I ever complained, heck, my school doesn't even have a football team.
