Big 6'5 260 pound right tackle Grant Vercheak had a great night. He did good blocking but he did great punting. 6 punts 235 yards 39.2 average and 3 punts inside the 20.

I just saw the Collins school bus go bye on Walton Nicholson. Long day for those guys today. Good luck the rest of the year, I think Collins will be just fine this season.

They have some good football players and should win 4a again.

On another thread I asked the question about a preference for scheduling a bye or 2 scrimmages. This game was a strong argument for 2 scrimmages. Fumbles. Penalties. Missed assignments. I thought Racke grew up some in this game with some clutch throws when Collins threatening to seize momentum. Secondary for SK was much better than expected. Collins could not run between tackles. I would guess most of Collins yardage came on trick plays.

How could I forget? To all l my haters looks like I am right SK is going to dominate this season!

I'm not done. They all said Racke wouldn't do good also. Racke is the real deal! He made Collins defense look weak. He is great with the play action. He plays like Mr. Lawrence he is going to be a good one!

And Deaton didn't play, both are difference makers on opposite sides of the ball.

Hope Powell is Ok. They used several RB's that played very well. Secondary played well. Some sophomores really stepped up. Brian Carter and Kincaid both played a heck of a game.

His father Doug was a very good athlete and had a serious leg. I doubt he's worried about his son passing his punting record. I believe Doug had a punt over 80 yards while we were in school.

Is Deaton still serving a suspension?
