Reds vs. Cardinals (Aug. 18-20)

Featured Replies

Reds up 4-2. Bottom of the 6th. Le Pew on the mound. Just about to give the lead up

Not sure what happened to him. He's just flat out awful anymore.

Still curious to see if Chapman takes the mound and if so, if he is good Aroldis or alternate universe Aroldis.

Chapman isn't a complainer.

Chapman reminds me of a story told by Professor Charles Lee at Centre.

He served as a medic in the Korean War. A wounded Turkish soldier who did not speak English was brought in for triage treatment. Dr. Lee was trying to explain that he needed to give the soldier a shot. After about 2 minutes of charades it dawned on the soldier what Dr. Lee was trying to tell him. He grabbed the syringe out of Dr. Lee's hand and jabbed it into his own forearm, "Me Turk, me no afraid."

I could see Chapman doing something like that.

Great play by Dudwick to save a run followed by a run scoring hit.
