I was not insinuating that you did say they were the same, I was just clarifying that there were different types at these two places... I was only trying to determine if we were talking about the same ones at NDA.

Tower Park the field is nice but the parking and how you have to get to/from the field from the parking lot is a pain. Plus, there is just something about Ft. Thomas that I find creepy/distasteful....

Theres plenty of parking up in front of the army reserve bldg.

Bosshog is right, there is plenty of space up front. If you have any issues parking there you could always park in Scooby-Doo 6 and ride the shuttle down to the field.

Having lived in Ft. Thomas all my life I'll ignore the "creepy distasteful" comment, as we

have learned over the years its just jealousy and envy.

Always loved Tower Park & Eva G. Farris (Holy Cross) as places to watch games.

 

Dixie Heights has a great facility as well

Your seat will be perfect for me... We have a 5:15 (Supper Time) match there this year.

Almost hate to agree with Bosshog, but I think the viewing from above makes Tower Park a very nice place to watch a match. The parking and walking the hill is tough for older patrons, I agree. Dixie is obviously very nice as well but if you want a nice elevated view, you end up pretty far from the playing surface. Boone, Conner and Ryle (without the play by play) are nice as well. I do find Ryle's lining a little confusing also. CovCath and ND have very nice fields but a little too close to field level for my taste. St. Henry also has a very nice venue to watch a soccer game. All of their facilities are very accommodating.

 

NCC and Brossart just don't have facilities to match the public schools. How much does NCC charge and are you paying to see a field or match?

You won't see many HS games there, but I like Thomas More's field as well.

NKU is top-notch, I believe that Brossart plays there a few times a year.

I think St Henry showcased some very nice soccer facilities tonight. Field looked good. I like the new press box. Lots of parking, nice concessions, big spectator area. I was impressed.

I completely forgot about SK. Very nice field and stands.........

 

Probably one retaining fence on the far side away from being great......still not sure why they didn't put one up and let the balls go downt he hill.

 

Between SK, Scott and Dixie ....kenton county taxes being put to good use.

Brossart has the worst field... Pendary Park. The field is undersized (am I right in this?). If so, this gives them a huge advantage in their home games. Their away games aren't as large as a disadvantage for them since all of the away games will have full-size fields and they will have experience playing on them as opposed to their home opponents who only encounter a smaller field at Pendary.

Last year I believe. They're about 7 rows. They're cheap.

 

You must think 150,000 dollars is cheap. Throw in another 40 grand for the press box. I know....Highlands spent more on their football scoreboard.
