Bowling Green wins boys? soccer title, 6-4 | USA Today High School Sports | USA Today High School Sports Write-up from the Courier. Scott's coach blames the "not being consistent" calls. Poor form.

Yes, UK's going to remain committed to him. He's still just a kid and he has time to grow out of this. The coaching staff at UK, and the upperclassmen, will help him along that journey. I look forward to cheering him along as a Cat for the nest 4 years.

The 4th was very involved tonight - have never seen a center consult with the 4th on a call before as the guy did tonight (I think most notably on the BG player's 2nd yellow/red). Doesn't mean it's wrong, by any means. I'm a proponent of getting the call right - if you have to talk to the ARs or the 4th, get it right.

Blaming any of this on the ref, as if he lost control of this game, is absolute garbage. He did nearly everything short of calling every touch a foul - at some point, the players have to control themselves. Tonight, for the last 25 minutes of the match, far too many of them did not.

He's a kid. Plenty of time in life to grow out of it. Congratulations to BG on their 2nd title - taking it away from a NKY team both times (Ryle in 2006 & Scott tonight)

And there's the fight/scuffle...Treadway gets a red to finish his HS career

Another player ejected for Scott - 2nd caution 10 v 9, 6 to 4 BG with the big numbers

Yes 6-4 5:20 remaining

And BG's star gets a 2nd yellow after the center consults with the 4th official

BG keeper with a great punch away under serious pressure...still 6-4

Scott player with a red card...team losing their composure unfortunately

And 6-4 BG on a muffed free kick that gets volleyed in

That was a ridiculous free kick there by Morgan 5-4 now

This is just nuts now

And we're tied 3-3

3-2 now 1:19 left in 1st

Treadway 3-1

BG ties it about 2 minutes later 1-1 Yellow Card beat me to it

Owensboro Catholic with the upset of Sacred Heart in game 1 - final score 1-0 They await the South Oldham vs Notre Dame winner (currently 1-0 SO with about 5 minutes left in the 1st half)

Treadway has all 3 goals for Scott. That young man may just put the team on his back and carry them thru - he is a talented scorer.

Scott, Trinity & South Oldham advance

Scott up 7-4 very late in game - looks like they'll advance to face Trinity

Bowling Green up 5-0 over Hopkinsville with 10 minutes to go in the 1st half

South Oldham 3-1 Fern Creek - guessing around 20 minutes to go Trinity 2-0 less than 22 minutes remaining

South Oldham 3-0 38 minutes remaining
