There are some episodes that made me fall in the floor laughing but then some that were just PAINFULLY unfunny, and I always ended up running out of steam. I re-watch just about anything involving the Nightman and Dayman stuff, and another favorite is Mac and Charlie die. When Mac crashes that car into the wall......

Also Reynolds v Reynolds: a cereal defense. Another great one with a lot of jokes about why the show never wins an award is The gang tries desperately to win an award.

They are all God awful people. Each of them awful in their own way. A good episode demonstrating that is "the gang gets analyzed"

Most comedies hit their stride at the 2nd or 3rd season and then by 6 or 7 are past their prime. Considering this show hasn't consistently been good, further proves that it's great.

I cut it down too. I like almost every episode. Some I didn't like at first and enjoyed the second time around. Some are instant classics.
