June 1999, Indianapolis...................saw Buckethead perform a partial set with Primus.

Saw Buckethead roughly 8-10 years ago at the 20th Century Theater in the Oakley neighborhood of Cincinnati. Amazing guitarist.

Wow I never would've guessed that I would've nailed when I saw Buckethead so closely and that I'd find the entire show online. Turns out it was 9 years ago.

Here's the entire 20th Century Show in Cincinnati:

One of my two favorites....George Lynch of Dokken

Here's the other, Eric Johnson - Cliffs of Dover. 1st 2:10 is lead in to the actual studio version, but live is WAY better, well worth watching the whole 6:22.

Eric Johnson just played the Taft Theatre in downtown Cincy 3 nights ago.

Stumbled upon this trippy instrumental psychedelic British band named "Ozric Tentacles" pretty much by accident back in 2006, and saw them at Bogarts in Cincy with absolutely no knowledge of what they were about before going to the show.

They blew my mind. Not one dull moment during the whole jam. They were mesmerizing, and I walked away stunned by what I had just experienced.

Came to find that they've been together since 1983 with the only constant member being guitarist Ed Wynne, and that they've put out 25 records in that time with Ed Wynne adding 2 solos records of his own as well.

Ed is essentially is the master wizard behind the whole project and has been from the start.

He sorta looks like the love child of Frank Zappa and Alice Cooper.

The band in itself is incredible, and their live shows are a fantastic trippy experience with non-stop psychedelic videos and light show, but this is an audio montage specifically to showcase just some of the fantastic guitar playing of Ed Wynne in 1 video since this thread is about great guitarists.

My "new favorite". I wonder how he would sound playing electric.

Thanks for sharing, listened to the whole video and I really enjoyed it.

Love how this guy impeccably catches every last nuance of this tune with such amazing precision.

I really like this. :thumb:

Not a star "YET", Daniel Danato plays with the Don Kelly Band at Robert's Western World in Nashville. The kid is only 18.

He starts at the 1:34 mark:

Here he's playing with Mando Saenz. Check the 1:54 mark.
