I've Scottish roots on my Dad's side, as well as a Scottish surname. Can't say that there was much heritage passed along to me, if any, but I still have always gotten certain goose bumps from bagpipes and celtic music.

 

Earlier this year I was lucky to visit Edinburgh in the wintertime, and very much felt at home there, especially since my family tartan was to be found everywhere, and also worn as scarves by many.
