That is last years roster.

Is there extra "juice" in this game because of Coach Brossart's coaching history???

 

I have no clue how Brossart views CCH now or what he says to his players about his experiences there. I know he had a couple CCH guys on his staff the past couple years. But I am going to say that it does add a little fuel to the fire but not to much. This has always been a big game for the Red Colonels. Dixie is 7-33 against CCH lifetime with there last win coming in 2007 (they later were defeated by CCH in the playoffs that year). In past years Dixie has had pep rallies before they have played CCH and are always hungry for the win. This senior class probably very much wants to finally beat CCH, especially after they were absolutely manhandled by them in 2012. I expect a tough game see Dixie pulling out a W. But Dixie always has been known to shoot themselves in the foot when playing the Blue Colonels.

Thank you Walter for your time and effort. Appreciate what you do for NKY sports. The Dixie Heights Colonels are amped and looking forward to a good season!

Is it Luke Caple or Noah Caple?

 

Luke Caple is a senior and I believe is playing offense while Noah Caple a junior, I believe is playing defense. I may very well be wrong on this so correct me if I'm wrong. Thanks

Yes.

 

But I would also say that it has more to do with both teams being legit this year. Oh, and the fact that they are both named Colonels and the schools are on the same street.

Please, please, please beg your school to schedule CovCath and / or Highlands. I beg you. That way all of the nonsensical hypotheticals can be put to bed.

 

HellBird, before you go apoplectic on me, I'm not saying they are equals (HHS is MUCH BETTER in every conceivable way), but they are fairly obviously #1 and #2 in Northern KY over the last many years. I believe CovCath has 4 non-Highlands losses to NKY teams in the last 5 years or so....if I remember that thread from last October correctly.

Awesome I could introduce you to the kid you think is fragile! I won't be surprised if he puts up over 200 yards on Dixie this year!
