I would probably learn your team is not as good as you think it is!

Many people have already reached that conclusion about you! I've been pretty modest about Dixie Heights and what they bring to the table this season...Dixie is very solid this year and should improve on last seasons 7-3 regular season record if they stay healthy. This is a great group of kids!

Based on last season 7-3 regular season finish, the fact that Dixie lost some talented seniors (definitely not in rebuild mode though), return many players that will be either two or three year starters and have made improvements every season under Coach Brossart, anybody that does not expect Dixie to be one of the better teams in Northern Kentucky is just kidding themselves.

 

I am a Blue Colonel Fan and have respect for the Red Colonels down the road.

Please, please, please beg your school to schedule CovCath and / or Highlands. I beg you. That way all of the nonsensical hypotheticals can be put to bed.

 

HellBird, before you go apoplectic on me, I'm not saying they are equals (HHS is MUCH BETTER in every conceivable way), but they are fairly obviously #1 and #2 in Northern KY over the last many years. I believe CovCath has 4 non-Highlands losses to NKY teams in the last 5 years or so....if I remember that thread from last October correctly.

I never said CCH is a bad team, that has been a huge misconception you and others have. I simply said how can CCH be one of the best teams in the state, yes I said STATE, when they haven't won anything. That is all and is pretty simple. Have CCH win something like even their district just once and then we can bow down to them. I hope they do win. I never wished anything bad upon them, I am and have been a fan of CCH but I also am realistic and think a team needs to earn respect instead of just being handed it.

Well said bluecolonel87 and thank you for the respect. Always good to move from the rear view mirror to the "blind spot," after last years game.

 

Going to be a great "battle" on August 30. Both teams are very dynamic this year!

This group should do very well. When was they last time Dixie had two D1 players??? Should be a strong season.
