July 12, 201511 yr You'll appreciate this, @Lawnboy13. New Clyde family record for longest trip to find a Catholic church on vacation. - 13 miles. Like I said earlier in this thread, it's the 1st site I go to when we reach our vacation destination. A month ago we went to the Spanish language Mass in Ocean Isle, NC. The church was only 3 miles away, but the language barrier was a million. :lol2: However, I will say it was a very neat experience.

July 12, 201511 yr ...have never read directly from the bible. ...get ticked when mass is longer than one hour. ...identify as Catholic, not Christian. ...singing at mass is a spectator sport. ...see the same people in mass every week. Never once spoken to them. ...have sat in mass and legitimately wondered what percentage of the congregation is day dreaming as well. ...have no clue what happens in churches in other Christian denominations, but are convinced that they are worshiping wrong. ...have no idea what the bible says, or doesn't say about Mary. ...religion has a time and place, which is Sunday morning. Unless something more important is going on. ...believe that a human being can some how be infallible. ...you don't study history. The Catholic Church has a horrid history...For an institution dedicated to Christ anyway. That's all I have off of the top of my head. All in good fun.
July 10, 201610 yr Author Saturday mass in Perdido Key. 400 people or so. About 360 are visiting from out of town. My Eucharistic minister was a lady I see when I go to St Barb's by my house.
