UK Football Recruiting 2016

Featured Replies

@RowlandRIVALS: Fresh off trip to Alabama four-star OL Drake Jackson says UK is still his leader in advance of December decision.

@RowlandRIVALS: However, if John Schlarman follows Neal Brown to Troy, that could tip the scales in Alabama's favor with Jackson.

Schlarman isn't going to Troy.

Saw Jango live this year, has a good frame but will have to show a lot more to get on the field at the next level.

Jango Glackin ? Lebanon HS ? 2016 | MSROhio | Scouting Ohio's Future College Football Stars for Over 20 Years

◦Jango Glacklin - LB - Lebanon - 2016. Plays fast. Closes well on ball. Gets thru junk to make plays. Needs to improve change of direction. Physical player. Ideal MLB on next level. One of MSR top LB's in class.

2016 4 star QB Messiah deWeaver is talking his commitment over with his family. I would say he decommits. His second favorite is UK. I think we could be on commitment watch. Plays on same high school teams as commits Roland Walder and Kei Beckham who are urging him to come to UK.

Just as I said physical kid who isn't afraid to throw his nose in the pile, really needs to work on quickness as he will have to pass cover in college.

Ohio States current 5 star MLB is a similar player but more athletic and he has lost playing time to 5 star freshman Raekwon McMillian who can tackle and is fluid.

We will see what kind of senior year he has. He's a 3 star kid who could move to a 4 star with a monster senior year.

Everything has to be compared to Ohio State lol

They are the standard of college football.. Surprised you haven't learned that yet.

His motor is his key. He's gotten a lot bigger this year and retained speed. Visited Ohio State this past weekend.

High school wise because UK is trying to stay alive with Ohio recruits. Don't have anyone to compare him too in KY.

My high school team ran for 240 yards on his D this past season and those are Thomas Moore guys. He could have a break out year, I know Fickell is keeping tabs on him. He is a nice down hill player and he's nasty. There's always a few guys who break out their senior year, I'll get to see him live again next year.

Most teams ran from his side, your Centerville team made it a point to avoid his side. I was at that game , being I am from Centerville. Against Kings he was blitzed every down from the weak side in the heat till he needed rehydrated, I went that game to see my first glimpse of Glackin. You can't blame Glackin for coaches putting him where teams can run from him. . Lebanon should of had him in the middle. Glackin runs legit 4.5's and sub 4 second pro agility. Looking at stats and watching him play, I don't believe there was a first down or touchdown run to the weak side. I believe he will be a 4 star before the season. Rumor has it Glackin will be playing his Senior year in Florida for a top program so he can develop as a player. I have friends who know his Father. Below I posted an article of his Sophomore numbers. He has since increased size and speed.

During the combine portion of the combine the 6-foot-2, 193-pound Glackin posted solid numbers in the 40-yard dash (4.58), Pro-Shuttle (4.03) and L-Cone (7.05). However, it was his showing during the instruction and one-one part of the combine that created major buzz.

"Being a sophomore, I didn't realize how big of a deal the whole day was until it was over. I didn't expect people to be saying so much about me after it ended

They are the Standard of the BIG 1O, which honestly has become a pretty weak Conference.

We will see how things work out for him, that's a shame he's gonna leave Ohio if true. I don't live in Cville though. What I find most interesting is he's in a UK thread, when I've heard he's highest on West Virginia right now. Hope he does well in Florida.

I am a huge UK fan. I think he is mentioned in this thread because of his visit to UK. I heard his Father loves UK and likes it is close so he can see his son. WVU has offered him and UK hasn't

The Florida deal is because he can develop year round and actually get coached . Lebanon was not developing him as a player. I wish him well also. I love his work ethic.

I'm surprised UK has not offered. I think it's only a matter of time, hopefully, he has a monster year in Florida.
