Manziel tones it down . . . by hanging out with Justin Bieber

Featured Replies

At a time when Browns owner Jimmy Haslam has been firing plenty of employees, there’s one guy who can defy him without consequence.

Via The Big Lead, Manziel partied last night in Hollywood with Bieber, Floyd Mayweather, and Tyrese. Bieber posted photos of the get-together on social media. Per TMZ, police were twice called to Bieber’s house due to noise (possibly by Keyshawn).

From the Browns’ perspective, it’s the latest example of Manziel keeping anything but a low profile as he enjoys his time away from work. And it’s evidence that heindeed won’t change, even if his employer asks him to. From the NFL’s perspective, the powers-that-be can’t be thrilled about Manziel’s open association with Mayweather, a notorious, high-stakes gambler.

If it's Brown, flush it down!

I am excited that Manziel is the AFC North for several reasons but he better be able to play at this level or it will be a short, hard ride.

And the Browns, Haslam, the front office, etc. What a JOKE!

They are rivaling the Jets for Clown Show Kings.

Some teams have bad luck. Like legitimate bad luck. And then there are teams like the Browns that absolutely do it to themselves.

.......

I hope all of the "I love Manziel" and the "I think Manziel will be a great NFL QB" guys don't go into hibernation. I can't recall an athlete I liked less than this dope. He hasn't done anything "bad", per se, but I just find him loathsome.

Maybe one good slobber-knocker might get his attention. I don't think Broadway Joe partied as much.

Going off on tangent, I question whether Manziel's skill set will work in the NFL.

I see inconsistency on the horizon.

I have zero faith in any QB that seems almost totally reliant on his legs to make plays. We're not talking about a guy like Steve Young or Randall Cunningham who could run but had the arm and throwing ability to back it up. We're talking guys who make it their business to run all the time and need that threat to help open up the passing game. RGIII was great his first year wasn't he? But oh wait, it got him wrecked physically because that's what happens in the NFL when you do that. The next season they decide he'll run less and guess what? He's a mediocre passing QB, and therefore was terrible. Manziel will be the same.

Wait....may take multiple.....which he may get his first few games. Ring master for "Clown Show Kings" (good one Ru!)

This comment from the comments in the article have me rolling :lol2:

"Everyone is jumping on Johnny Football’s every move. It is clearly a big misunderstanding because, judging from the photo, he was hanging out with Ellen Degeneres and Terry Crews."

My thing is, if this guy is your teams QB, your leader. Is that what you want in your leader?

At first I was disappointed my Jags took Bortles. Now, I'm slowly loving it. Of course it might not mean a darn thing if he doesn't produce on the field but so far I'm loving it.

Bortles is probably doing the same stuff. He just does not have the paparazzi core following him.

I am a Browns fan and have been for a long time, and when Manziel was drafted I was the happiest I've ever been in my years of being a Browns fan. You all talk about how you wouldn't want to have the man who is suppose to be your leader out partying and living it up. But as you all know, he was a partier in college to but it didn't bother his performance on the field. When he is on that field he was the best player on it. (In college) So I'm not too worried about his love for partying right now, because he still competed at the highest level of college football in the SEC and made teams look dumbfounded when he had the ball in his hands.

Maybe, maybe not. I wouldn't be surprised if he was, signing a 20 million dollar contract that early in life would warrant some partying. Difference is partying with the Beiber and Floyd Mayweather vs being low key about it all.

Phhhhhhttttt......anyone under the age of 25 who would choose to party low key instead of with Biebs and Floyd is pretty damn stupid. :lol2:

Get out :lol2:. I cant imagine a scenario in which I say, hey lets go party with the Biebs.
