Really? You are still whining about that? Get over it. Difference between congratulating a kid and subjectively obsessing on one. For the love of God I got called out for posting tweets of the stats of the Midland kids, called a homer and even was accused of being all three kids dads via PM. Brayden deserves the recognition, congrats to him. That said, any list without Jason Suchanek on it is nothing but garbage. He can't even get HM? Best all around player on that team, had the best year hands down, and there was no question who the leader of that team was. Hit leadoff, which meant he didn't have the advantages the other kids behind him did of seeing fastball after fastball pumped at him. Didn't hit between himself and Combs, or between Stringer and Slusher. Mason Forbes? Hunter Dunn? How are they not on there somewhere? I know, it's very easy to tear down lists and I am sure all those kids on there had great years, and we could discuss omissions forever.

Is there any other player signed to a D1 scholarship left off the team? Ever? Beechwood's Jason Suchanek (signed with Xavier) deserves to be on the team.

These are really subjective and biased against certain schools. State Champion St Xavier had one player on the A-S team (Austin Clemons) who was injured and did not play most of the year. Clemons is deserving of the honor, but its hard to believe that no player who actually played on the state champion team was included in the 1st, 2nd, 3rd or honorable mention. There are at least 4 St X kids in addition to Clemons who should be recognized, but who is counting, since X won it all!

Definitely agree that Suchanek, Forbes, and Dunn should of have at least been on the HM list. Crazy!

Any whining regarding Combs was presented by you MR so that is why I did the preemptive strike. Re-read your post on how you came across. Take what you dish out. And, I might add, I was one of the first ones to defend your posts from Midland because it was the only stats we were getting in a generally stats scarce market of NKY. If you happen to be all 3 kids' dad then you have some unbelievable athletic genes . In all seriousness, you are bang on regarding Suchanek. The omission is pure garbage. It's almost like he is "quiet good" and falls under the radar to those outside the region. He did not bat lead-off though until 2/3 of the way through the season when they were slumping and needed to make a change. For the most part it worked. He is the consummate team player. I am glad he chose X and is staying local. It is a program on the rise as evident in the Big East title and a win in the NCAAs over perennial power Clemson. Good luck Jason!

If I was Cameron Ross I wouldn't ignore it. They should at least be able to get the name and school correct in the posting.
