July 1, 201412 yr I have a question. I have been in the league several years and due to draft position and everybody keeping mostly two RB, I have never have a top tier RB. Yet, a rookie can come into the league and get a team with Adrian Peterson. Another year, I among others are behind the eight before the Draft. Yes, I can Draft a RB, but who is left? Some thoughts, maybe keep only one player or if you keep two only one can be a RB. This is the main reason the same people make playoffs and win Bowls and is others lose and get kick out of the league. Last year my RB's were MJD and Tolbert. Just thinking out loud. Give me some opinions! PS, this is not sour grapes, I am is interested any do my homework.it is just wrong that a rookie has a advantage over veterans.

One of the key things about keeper leagues is looking long term. You need to find the next AP in the draft or in a trade and build your team over a couple of years. RP us no rookie. He's had AP for years. RB's disappear quick. Depending on what you start with you will see people reach two maybe even three rounds above where a rookie RB should be taken.

Last year I tried to trade everything I had for a back I think is going to be a great fantasy RB for years to come. Stupid owner kept saying no. I'll remember that in a couple years when he comes calling.

So far, not so good![/quote'] AP didn't help him last year. He still got booted from the league. There are many keeper leagues....and then there's THE BGP KEEPER LEAGUE. Win this league and you've got something to crow about. Win it twice and well you're in a league of your own and KING of the Hill.
July 1, 201412 yr I was surprise Team 6 wasn't the first team taken. AJ Green and Calvin Johnson. I didn't really look at the other teams but can't imagine they had two better keepers than those two. This was exactly my logic. I was really happy they fell to me. I didn't think I had a prayer to get team 6 but I'll take it. :thumb:
