If this is a topic of discussion on CNN, then maybe the national media is finally beginng to realize what a disservice it has done to this nation with its lapdog coverage of the Obama administration. Hopefully, the Republican leadership will also begin to acknowledge their own role in enabling this president to inflict heavy long term damage on our government and economy - but that seems unlikely. A president can only fail to the extent that Obama has failed if he has the complicity of Congress.

They are only saying that as to save their own skin for re election and to help Hillary Clinton in the future.

They didn't all of a sudden get guts or grow a set. They are playing political blame game on someone who is leaving office.

I also agree. I think many Democratic politicians really do believe that Obama is "detached, flat-footed, and incompetent' (and worse), but if they manage to get re-elected, then they will once again be singing his praises. They are counting on the short attention spans of the people who elected them the last time that they ran for office.

 

Nobody who supported Obamacare and has not already admitted their mistake deserves to be re-elected, regardless of how strongly they criticize Obama between now and November.

I voted for Al Gore for President. He was a democrat. He also got freakin robbed by the republicans and Jeb Bush. I do like a few Dems.

If Allison Lundergan Grimes doesn't offer some criticism of Obama even if soft criticism, she is putting herself to a HUGE disadvantage in this election as unpopular as he is in KY and would not be showing much political savvy. She REALLY needs to find about three to five areas to differ from the president and make it known to the public. Possibilities are Affordable Care Act, gun control, abortion, coal regulation, etc. all areas that KY differs pretty widely with the president. I have no idea what her position is on these topics since she has been somewhat tight lipped so far.

She was very against Obama in 2008 and the way that the DNC Convention was handled in Denver left a sour taste. Her fathers two large businesses are just two blocks away from Buds Guns and they are friends with the owners and do go there to shoot quite a bit.

 

I do not agree on her position on the VA chief, let that pan out and see what he knew. As the VA has been a mess for many years, even the Bush administration out in their transition report on how bad it was.

 

Either way, it will be an interesting 5 months on campaigning for both sides.
