Does anyone have any NKY district updates we can share on one thread?

As of today in the 36th...

HHS plays Dayton tonight in a semi-final with NCC waiting to see who they will play in the final on Thursday.

In the 37th tonight at five at Scott...cchs vs bbhs for the championship again;)

Hope they get their games in tonight.

Good luck to the Camels... Got a Summer player on the team and wish them well. Nothing against BBHS just gotta root for my girl Sarah.

It would be nice to get a win....I think in the past five yrs I've had a kid on the team, we haven't beaten them regular or post season....the girls are due and hopefully they will play like they did last night against Scott;)

Boone County beat Cooper in the 33rd District 9-1. They will play for the championship Thursday against the winner of tonight's game between Conner and Ryle.

In the Enquirer today, Marc Hardin reported Highlands pitcher Bailey Spencer is unavailable today? Emergency Appendectomy. Does this give the Green Devils a chance?

Honestly, every team, no matter the odds has a chance. Just look at the 9th District Semi-Finals....Owensboro (8-16) who had lost twice (13-1 5 inn. & 14-3 5 inn.) this season to #7 Owensboro Catholic (22-7) who is only the 2013 State Runner-Up and winner of the 3rd Region every season since 2001, beat the mighty Ace's 4-3.

That being said, Dayton has some very nice players , Felicia Watts (could play for just about any team in the 9th), Sam Nellis, Samantha Scott, & Aubry Donelan just to name a few. I don't think Dayton will pull off the upset, but they have a group of kids that WILL NOT back down to ANY TEAM, and they give 100% while cheering their teammates on till the end no matter the score. Good luck to Coach Hunt and her girls, they are a fun bunch to watch.

Highlands 16 Dayton 1 in 3 innings. Play NCC tomorrow at the Birdcage at 6pm for the 36th district championship.

Conner 3 Ryle 1 in the 33rd. Good game. Boone County and Conner in the final tomorrow.

Love this girl. Through a lot of adversity she continues to improve. Best of luck to her and the Birds going forward.
