This poll would seem to have serious issues.

Agreed issues indees. Brossart beat NCC & Dixie. WV should be in top 5 JMO

And highlands beat Conner and split with Ryle (disclaimer- true record against Ryle is 1-2 but I think it's fair to throw out one of the losses for this purpose due to the birds missing six starters in the tournament game... But we are not complaining.. In all honesty... What does this poll at this time mean anyway??? The districts and regional tournaments will sort it all out...

This leaves me scratching my head.

I just scratched mine bald... I do not understand how WV continues to post BIG wins yet does not move up in the polls. I am also a little perplexed by the lack of voting!!!

Walton has victories over Dixie, NCC, Conner and drops two close games to Boone. They did not play Notre Dame, Ryle or Highlands. Should they at least be higher than the teams they defeated? I guess in the end what does the poll matter if only two people are voting. Nice seasons for the above teams though!

I would say yes. I think sometimes the Walton's, GC's and some of the other teams on the outskirts do not get as much attention because of the location. Not that we forget about you, but maybe we forget about you a little bit! :lol2:

Couldn't agree more Panda! It's a great time of the year and there should be some great games ahead of all of us!

I Got to take the heat for at least the Birds sometimes lack of voting. I get the reminders and sometimes feel it's more important to get the stats in SidStats than get Rob to vote. So you can blame the lack of votes from us on me. Selfish maybe a little bit but I want to make sure he has what he needs to keep the Birds in the W column. We have a tough one tonight and if we get past this one another challenge tomorrow. No easy ones from here on out... I'm not a coach so I'm not qualified to do the voting.

 

I will say this though. I think most coaches get on here at some point and if there were more updates on how some of the lesser known teams were doing it might be easier to vote. We all can tell you about NCC and their season and get some info on HHS and NDA but little is on here about some other teams such as WV. We might see a score update every now and the but little details. I would love to hear more about WV as I had a summer player that now plays for them but rarely see anything...
