I was shocked Kevin Wright left Indy Warren Central to become the AD and Head Coach at Tulsa, OK Union High. They have 3500 students compared to the 5000 he had at Warren Central. They do have 6A football there and this school has won 3 of the past 4 AAAAAA titles. I understand from the Indy Star Newspaper his salary will approach $100,000.00! He left Trinity after one season because of family issues. I suppose those are all cleared up now.

If its a question, I get it. If you're a football guy, OK is one of those states and Jenks is one of those programs that you strive to.

I don't think Bob got the Valdosta Job. He took a job north of Atlanta.

That is alot of money to coach football and teach (or whatever the school assigns him to do). It most be one heck of a deal for him to leave.

I watched Jenks play Union a few years ago when I was on business in Tulsa. Both were loaded with athletes. Very fun to watch. Would be more fun to coach. I venture to say Oklahoma has better football and it means more in Oklahoma than Indiana. I can't blame him.

I would guess that teaching is no where in his contract. Schools that pay that kind of money for a coach don't want a teacher.

great for him...he has cleared up that family issues, he truly is moving up.

I think he was truly sorry to leave Trinity, but the family issues made it necessary. I'm glad those issues have cleared up for him. Good luck to him. My sons were very upset when he left, but felt that Coach Beatty was an even better replacement.

He preceded Coach Beatty. He coached at Trinity for one year.
