May 19, 201412 yr He is too slow to play in the league. That's it. You are speaking about Sam, correct? And I thought he looked a little slow on film but admittedly I don't know his 40 time. Anyone?
May 19, 201412 yr You are speaking about Sam, correct? And I thought he looked a little slow on film but admittedly I don't know his 40 time. Anyone? He ran a 4.91 at the combine, which is definitely on the slow end. His other measureables weren't great either...17 reps at 225, 26.5 inch vertical, slow shuttle time. He did run a 4.73 at this pro day, which is closer to where he should be. But there are plenty of questions concerning his ability. That being said, there have been plenty of workout warriors that posted great numbers at the combine and accomplished zero in the NFL, and also plenty of guys who disappointed at the combine and ended up being All-Pro's. No one know's for sure how he'll do until camp starts.

However, at this level it takes more ability, and I think he lacks it.

He may be better than he's shown as he's been fighting some injuries, but I do think he is a long shot at best to make the Ram's roster.

May 19, 201412 yr He had his 3 or 4 seconds of fame. If he is as slow and weak as you all say, then ESPN was his final act. Wait, he can always go work for the mob.
