David Morris, Joe's older brother and a former college player at Missouri and former head coach is now on the staff and will help out on offense. I look for Mayfield to slightly be the team to beat in 1A but Beechwood and Frankfort could be right there also. Mayfield could take some lumps early on but come playoff time they should be ready. After this season I look for Mayfield to be ready for the next 3 to 4 seasons as this young group gets older.

What was the final score in the title game last year? I know the cast changes, but it doesn't seem to have much impact on the results in Mayfield.

I like to predict our season on a few things. #1 being our scrimmage game with Milan Tenn. they are usually very good and if we can beat them or hold our own I'm satisfied. If we are competitive against Paducah and Graves that's a plus also. If by chance we can hold our on against McCracken County then I say look out but I'm not expecting that as they will want revenge from last season and they should be a top 5 6A team.

35-0 after 1 quarter, final 42-0, could have been 100-0 but the Cards called off the heavy artillery after 1Q to allow a little sportsmanship and reward all on the team with some title game PT

Snake is about right in my opinion, about 2 to 3 maybe 4 losses while getting new guys in sync then we should be okay. Certainly capable of another title but not a given by a long shot. This group is young but has potential to produce a title or 2 before they pass the torch
