Absolutely.... The Chiefs should be solid again. I'm assuming they will have Seiter, Lyons, Hayes and Ramey as well. Adding Slone to that group...they're loaded with smart, hard-nosed players. I'm interested to see them play this summer for sure.

I heard Midland has picked up Ziegelmeyer (Ryle), Purnell (Boone), and Rasior (Highlands). All three are going to Florida with Midland this week for a Perfect Game Tourney.

I had heard about Raisor... Was told he was going to be pitcher only.

I think all three are going down to Florida to show their pitching abilities, but next summer, Ziegelmeyer and Purnell will be INF/ P and Raisor will be a PO. Good luck to all three.

Yes. Combs and Stringer both have been asked to be Redskins, and have accepted. Slusher may start with Braves depending on the recruiting machine that is The Midland 'Skins.

 

Side bar........per Twitter Jeffrey Purnell up to 88 on hill yesterday with team in Ft. Myers. That's a Perfect Game tweet, so write that in ink. He is about to find out what performing well in Florida wearing a Midland uniform does for your college desires. That's a good speed-90 is magic #-but coached will see projectability in him. Midland draws huge crowds down there, college coaches everywhere. Also saw that Tomahawk now Redskin and Georgia Tech commit Jay Wilson from Loveland hit 91. This is the place where he hit the radar last year by throwing upper 80s

If you are a sophmore or junior in HS this is the tournamnet to be at to get noticed. Probably the biggest tournamnet in the country as far as college and pro scouts.

Any other changes / additions with the Bluegrass Chiefs, Ky Colonels or At The Yard?

Any other teams of note? Those are the 3 NKY teams that were earlier discussed as the best in NKY. Also I throw in Midland cause they're loaded with NKY kids.

Anyway, should be some good summer ball after another good HS season I suspect.

Heard Raisor pitched well today. He was up to 85mph on the gun and struck a couple kids out in 2 innings.
