I want to share this with everyone. This is a racquetball chart but it gives perspective. In racquetball I would be considered a B Player. In Table Tennis I would be considered a very strong A Player.

Racquetball strategy and waiting for your shot is the key. Kind of like working the count in baseball to get the pitch you want to hit. If you ever played anyone that uses lobs to the back wall effectively you know what I mean. Just have to hang in there until you have a percentage shot.

Weird, I didn't see "humble" in either "ranking".

When the humble approach doesn't work you have to slap ignorance in the face.

That's where I work out too. I wish they'd start a league there...

Even if they don't have a league, there is a real nice group of guys (I am thinking strong C players up to a couple of A players) that regularly play. They seem friendly and inviting and I think they would welcome some new meat.

I'll have to keep that in mind then, thanks!

If I had a nickle...

I can't tell everyone how many times I have seen the self proclaimed ping pong stud visit the Cincinnati Table Tennis Club. Same result every time. The weakest player in the club kicked their tail every time. A couple of them actually came back and were eventually competitive with the three or four of the lower level players.

Wait...there is a "Cincinnati Table Tennis Club?" I had no idea. Anyone who has ever watched table tennis in the Olympics knows there is a whole other level of "ping pong" player....so to think that they could take on all comers would be bold. I'm certain 100% of people who visit said club would beat me so bad I'd never sniff a point. Would be silly think otherwise.

On of my coaches played against some of the worlds greatest. The play was to 21 at the time. I asked him how he did, he told me he would normally get beat 21-8 or 21-10. I told him at least you scored some points. He laughed and told me, no, that is how many times they missed. True story.

Wait....take II.....you have multiple table tennis coaches? :greedy:

If you count the guy in the YouTube instructional video, yes.
