Hazard 57 PCC 49

Featured Replies

Great comeback from 11 down. Big Al had an excellent game plan to try to stop Hicks and it worked for three quarters but once Hazard turned up the defensive pressure with the press PCC made too many turnovers and the Bulldogs capitalized on it. When Hicks hit the "3" to give Hazard the lead the game was over. Michael Campbell was a man child on the boards and every contributed to the win. Hats off to Coach Spurlock and the rest of the players. Also I felt that Tyler Bailey and Kelly played good games for PCC. Just too much athleticism at the end for the Commodores.

Keep Rolling Dawgs!

I just want to take this opportunity to say that I am very proud of you all. You had an awesome season and it has been a pleasure to watch you play this year. You have shown great abilities and maturity in dealing with both wins and losses and I, as well as all true Commodore fans want to thank you for your hard work and team effort.

How do they go from not being that talented early in the year according to many posters (compared to Hazard teams of the past) and now they have all this talent? Sounds like some pretty good coaching to me.

Great post! :thumb:

I'm glad the PCC fans didn't play the "refs cheated" card in this thread. Congrats Hazard on a nice quality win here. And I think PCC lost with class in this thread so far.

They didn't use it because they've had their fair share of calls at PCC :D

Although, it would be great news for the opposing coaches in the region, it could possibly be the worst move Hazard could possibly make. Not many coaches could field the types of teams that he has while losing as many players to graduation as he does every year. Politics should have no place in basketball, but unfortunately they are part of it and this one could bite hazard in the backside down the road should they release Coach Spurlock.

Hazard better be thankful that they have a coach like Spurlock and not let him go anywhere. There is a good chance if he does leave he will end up at Allen Central. The coach there just resigned and this is Sprlocks old school.

Lets get back to the game.If you want to start a thread about the coach please do so....thanks
