Saw him play twice in the Republic Bank Classic (undoubtably, the premier high school holiday tournament in Ky) and thought Davis was the most agile 6'8" and 240 lb youngster I have recently seen. Reminds me of a tall James Lee. Some might not remember this freight train for U.K. '78 NCAA Champs via Henry Clay and 2nd round pick in the NBA draft. Put Davis on Cov. Cath.'s team and you might have top 10 nationally.

 

Don't forget that within two weeks of de-committing to Rice he had over a dozen major D1 offers, including six or more SEC schools. Understand he is a straight A student (explains early commitment to Rice) and a kid of strong ethics and moral fiber. A coaches dream.
