Transgender teacher coming back to class as true self

Would not affect my decision on my kids having her as a teacher. My wife was somewhere in New York providing a training at a Career/Tech Center and the director was a transgender. She said I would have been impressed, she said she was beautiful. Her hands were the giveaway. She also was a very good Director in her mind.

 

My wife also said she might have fulfilled my fantasy, but I would have been disappointed due to that isn't the grouping I would have thought.

You don't have to. And NHS was a pretty prestigious award when I was in school. Got in as a Junior, I was proud.

I don't have a problem with a good teacher but I would think she/he would wait until the school year was over. It's only a couple more months and wouldn't be a shock to the current kids in the class. Of course, they probably already know anyway.

Honestly, that's the first thing that crossed my mind. Surely to goodness he's got to know it's going to be a distraction for the kids...why not wait until summer?
