Teddy's Pro Day

Featured Replies

Saw them discuss it the other day on Pardon the Interruption. Don't know any particulars about his performance, but it's not the first time that top notch QB's have had bad pro days. And on the flip side, they said having a great pro day, doesn't guarantee you'll make it in the NFL either. They seemed to think that his past 3 years on the field, in games, would stand for more. So, I think you'll still see him go as one of the top QB's.

Alex Smith received a standing ovation at his Pro Day. Jamarcus Russell supposedly had one of the best Pro Days ever seen. Matt Ryan didn't have an overly impressive Pro Day. But it is incredibly rare for a QB at their Pro Day - at this level (meaning a top player in the draft) - to underwhelm.

For what it's worth, I heard somebody say it was windy that day.

Did they not do it indoors? Typically they do if places have indoor facilities and/or if the weather was poor.

True. However, like they said...being able to throw a ball 75 yards through a tire, while on one knee, may be impressive...but, it doesn't make you a guaranteed future HOF'er either.

Exactly.

It was indeed indoors.
