Who is the patron saint of the dribble?

There has been a lot said here and I agree with a lot of it. The one thing I think is true and I have noticed first hand many years ago there were 60+ kids who tried out for Campbell County middle school and they kept only 10 kids on 1 team. What about those kids that were missed, it seams those kids that were cut were marked and it was very unlikely that they would make the teams still while at middle school. They were able to tryout in high school when they got there but unless they continued to work on their skills through either rec or AAU leagues.

 

I feel that the one thing that schools like Brossart and NCC have that Campbell County does not, a larger list of schools to pull those top players from to make that one team when they hit high school. And most every school has multiple teams (A & B) giving every kid that wants the opportunities to continue to work on their skills giving each kid the opportunity to make that team when they become a freshman.

 

I guess my question is, why don't schools like Campbell County have more than one team for grade level? I'm using Campbell County as an example but I'm sure you could look at other public schools in other counties.
