GC comes from 8 points down with 2:10 left in regulation to earn their first regional tournament victory since 1997.

Brooke Dossett scored 20 of her 24 in 4th qt and OT. Autumn Bowen scored 20 of her 23 in the 1st half. Hannah Dossett scored 20 and hit 2 free throws with 13 seconds left to force overtime.

Congrats to Gallatin's kids for not flinching when they were down late. Also, kudos to 8th grader Kaylee Terrell for giving GC good minutes off the bench.

Left at halftime. Appeared to me it was gonna be a battle of 2s vs. 3s. Shelby was making lay ups and GC was making bombs. Thought Shelby would get the win. They will be tough next year. Congrats to GC.

Congratulations Gallatin! I thought Shelby County had the game won, but you proved differently. I've nave seen a team take and make so many deep threes. Shelby County looks like they will be a beast of a team next year! Good luck against Simon Kenton!

Gallatin pulled it out. Never quit despite being down pretty much the whole game. Bowen couldn't miss the first half with 6 3's and Hannah Dossett hit 3 as well and one of them was from Warsaw! End of 3rd qtr the score was Shelby 50 / Gallatin 44. Tied at 69 going to OT. I thought that Brooke Dossett put the team on her back in the 2nd half after a not so hot first half.

Anyone know if either of the Dossett's are being recruited for basketball? Brooke is very fundamentally sound. Her size hurts her college prospects. It was evident in the game last night. Shelby had some size Brooke had difficulty dealing with.

Brooke has offers from Lindsey Wilson, Vincennes, Midway, Georgetown, and Asbury. Hannah has accepted a softball scholarship offer from Ball State.

For three quarters, yes. Then Shelby had a hard time with her in the 4th quarter and OT. Shelby's size was hard for GC obviously. Gallatin has nobody taller than 5 ft7, Shelby has four 6 footers on the court at times.

Super. I've enjoyed watching Brooke since I noticed her as a Soph. Plays the game the way it is supposed to be played. Doesn't force things, good handle, and has the best shooting form (boy or girl) I've seen in several years. She was obviously taught by someone who knows a little about the game.

The AD/Coach from Vincennes was there watching Brooke last night. Very nice Gentlemen!
