sweet16 Posted March 3, 2014 Posted March 3, 2014 Which would be the biggest surprise if they didn't make it to state? I think it would be a big upset if Hoptown didn't make it. What other Regions have big favorites?
JokersWild24 Posted March 4, 2014 Posted March 4, 2014 Which would be the biggest surprise if they didn't make it to state? I think it would be a big upset if Hoptown didn't make it. What other Regions have big favorites? Mine are more about who is already gone rather than whose still there: 1. Anyone besides Ballard/Trinity in the 7th (not really what's being asked though) 2. Owensboro (now that Apollo is gone) 3. Hopkinsville (UHA seems to play them close, so maaaayyyyybeeeee) 4. Montgomery County (no longer have to get past Mason in the Fieldhouse, but MoCo has some serious question marks at the same time). 5. Wayne County in the 12th (I know it's deep and that there are teams who could beat them, but I think they are a solid pick to go).
gold sunrise Posted March 4, 2014 Posted March 4, 2014 Also with several teams across the state that were favored to win their district end up loosing in the district finals. This has made the regional draw REALLY interesting.
LCDAWGS19 Posted March 4, 2014 Posted March 4, 2014 Hoptown, to me, would be the biggest favorite in any region. Johnson Central might be next on the list, but I think Lawrence County is good enough to knock them off.
16thBBall Fan Posted March 4, 2014 Posted March 4, 2014 Fleming Co. is pretty much favored to win the 16th.
Ky Boy Posted March 4, 2014 Posted March 4, 2014 4th Region: Although Bowling Green upset Warren Central in the District. I still think Central will be the favorite. But now Bowling Green knows that they can beat Central. Should be an interesting tournament.
Rez Posted March 4, 2014 Posted March 4, 2014 1. Hoptown 2. Owensboro 3. Fleming Co. 4. Montgomery Co.
