Bracken County vs Montgomery County

Nicholas County vs Scott

Bishop Brossart vs Mason County

George Rogers Clark vs Harrison County

Interesting Draw. I look at this and immediately think that there will be a total shocker come out of this Region.

If it plays out like I think it will, the Semi's will be amazing.

Yes it is. What is the date and times of the games?

Should be: 3/3 Bracken vs. Moco at 6p.m. with Nicholas/Scott to follow 25 mins afterward.

3/4 B.B. vs. Mason County at 6p.m. with GRC/Harrison to follow 25 mins afterward.

Semi's on 3/7 at 6p.m. and 25 afterwards

Finals on 3/8 at 7p.m.

I haven't been able to keep up with the girls as much this year besides what I've seen in the papers. It appears that GRC is the class of the tenth with Brossart being second. Mason Co has been mentioned in the top teams as well as my Lady bears. With that said I predict Bracken and Scott advancing on Monday and Brossart and GRC advancing Tuesday with GRC and Bracken playing for the tenth region crown. The lady bears have been on a nice roll of late. And had a pretty dominating district tournament run. Headin into the region with a ton of momentum and confidence. As for who wins the tenth I'm going to say GRC. But I would not be surprised if Bracken wins eithier.

Winner of Bracken/Montgomery will play GRC in final, IMO.

The Lady Bears won in their regular season game with MoCo 64-61. Also played GRC and lost 75-62.

Talked to a couple of guys today & they said something I agree with: there are 6 teams in this tournament who could legitimately take the title.

Bracken beat Montgomery just a few weeks ago & my Lady Bears are coming off their best performance of the year. The Lady Bears have frequently found themselves opposite the Lady Indians in this tournament & they have ended up on the short end of the stick. I hope they reverse that trend, but it's up to them to do it.

I expect Scott to beat Nicholas & the Lady Eagles have flown under the radar this year, but opened some eyes in how they played Brossart in the 37th District tourney.

That Brossart/Mason County game is a really exciting matchup. I look for the Lady Royals to come out angry & play well, but the Lady Stangs have been outstanding all year long.

GRC should put away Harrison County with ease, setting up a stellar semifinal with the Brossart/Mason winner.

If forced to pick a winner from this solid field, I go with GRC.

Nobody will touch GRC if they played like they did in the district final.
