Twotoplace Posted February 12, 2014 Posted February 12, 2014 Running clock in third quarter. Believe halftime score was 48-21.
Walter Posted February 12, 2014 Posted February 12, 2014 Holmes was up 69-33 at the end of the third. JV team played 4th qtr against Stockwell, Mayberry and 3 jv players. Holmes killed Boone zone all night with good ball movement and penetration that led to dunks and good looks from outside
ennam_iv Posted February 12, 2014 Posted February 12, 2014 Great night to be a Bulldog! Alumni night! Got a pic of me with Huggins, who was in the house to watch Beetle... and was not in the mood to talk about Nancy Zimfer.

Clyde Posted February 12, 2014 Posted February 12, 2014 Cincinnati State offered both Hill and Chames. Is Marcus related to Austin Hill?
Walter Posted February 12, 2014 Posted February 12, 2014 Cincinnati State offered both Hill and Chames. Is Marcus related to Austin Hill? Cousin. Hill has played extremely well lately. His stat lines have been like the above on a regular basis over the past 5 or so games. Cincy St coach sat with Huggins last night throughout.

TAC Posted February 12, 2014 Posted February 12, 2014 What's the story on Stanley's line? 4 points, 2 assists. Season low?
ennam_iv Posted February 12, 2014 Posted February 12, 2014 What's the story on Stanley's line? 4 points, 2 assists. Season low? Rough night for the kid. Holmes' defense was swarming and constantly pressuring the ball. Boone's guards did not like, nor could they handle the pressure that Holmes' defenders were putting on them. It was funny to see a couple of the Boone players "stare down" the officials after calls they did not like... in light of what has been said on here lately about Bolden. I was at the CovCath game and do not see a difference between what Beetle did and what I saw from Boone players last night. I wonder why Beetle gets singled out like that... I guess I know the answer... the better players get scrutinized more.

If the player isn't saying something deragatory to the official and is only staring them down, then the officials job is to turn away and not worry about it. Coaches stare down officials and officials stare down players and coaches all the time. Not a big deal IMO
Walter Posted February 12, 2014 Posted February 12, 2014 What's the story on Stanley's line? 4 points, 2 assists. Season low? Got in to foul trouble early and never really got in a rhythm.
