I was just telling HSSRB the other night that I can tell you all kinds of stats from the 70s (Cesar Geronimo hit .287 I believe in 1975, Bill Plummer hit 3 HRs in one game on a Sunday in St Louis, Hal King hit a PH grand slam on a Friday night in Cincy against the Dodgers, etc) but cannot even come up with the names of many of the MLBers today from other teams.
