Huge in county rivalry game tomorrow night at the panthers den in Augusta. The Brent Bach show versus Austin Crawford and the Polar Bears. Their first game back in December was a instant classic barn burner the went to the Panthers on a buzzer beater by Bach. Both teams come into this game having lost thier previous games. Augusta is on a two game slide while Bracken has lost its last 8 (ouch). As usual the records the losing streaks everything goes out the window when these two teams play. Should be a dandy. So who ya got and why??

Bracken has a couple of freshmen who will be good. Jacob Hamilton plays quite a bit now--guard/wing type player. Brady Jones is a post player who I believe will be really, really good if he works hard.

You are absolutely correct! Going to be fun in Brooksville for a few yrs to come. Jacob is starting now while Scott Fite is on the mend. Brady is like second off the bench next yr we will be young but will have a lot of scoring possibilities. Sophmore Kolton Williams is a good shooter just needs to learn to create for himself more. Could possibily start 3 sophomores a junior next yr.

Once again you are correct. Has somewhere around 500 points this season and had several varsity points as a eighth grader. Was told by our bookkeeper that Austin could het his 1000 point ball as a freshman. Granted he will need to fill it up in the remaining games of this season and hopefully make it to the region. I think he stands somewhere around 750 career points now. Once he breaks the record it should stand for a long time.

 

Might possibily break the all time county record currently held by Augusta senior Brent Bach by the time he is done. I dont know if you can even say that as being a record. (Overall county scoring reguardless of what school you attended.) But it still sounds good.
