I would not take TAC's opinion of tattooes as meaning he feels he is better than anyone else. Nothing could be further from the truth.

I agree with TAC. Why else do you get a tat like that unless you are wanting people to stare at it? Seriously? Is there some deep meaning I'm overlooking? Maybe her father passed and was an artisan, perhaps a fine wood crafter and she's paying homage to him. Or she wants you to look at it. There's always that. No one is passing judgement. Sheesh.

Some of those are really cool; my question is based on the general

cost associated with ink I wonder how much high some of the prices would be.

Reminds me of a discussion regarding Michael Sam's announcement. "Gays don't judge straight people, why should straight people judge gays"?

Not saying it is right but it happens whenever you get 2 different views. Typically from one view that is in the "norm" and one the breaks societies view of normality. Tattoos are becoming more common, and will be more accepted over time. Those in the photos were over the top.

99.9% of people that get tattoos get them because the tattoo has some sort of symbolic meaning to that person. They couldn't care less if anyone else sees it or likes it, and most certainly aren't doing so because they're starved for attention.

I have 2 tats. Both are in places that can be covered for work, church, or whatnot. There is a time and a place for everything.

I know many friends that have tattoos, just not my cup of Tea. Many are very pretty, Some have great meanings near and dear to the heart of the owner. I'm Ok with them. The over the top Tattoos just don't make sense to me.

People DO get tattoos for their OWN pleasure, not the pleasure of others... Just because a person has a tattoo, doesn't mean he/she got it for YOU to look at.
