I think there are a few teams on the 15th no named Johnson Central that are fun to watch and solid, namely Lawrence Co. Possibly Sheldon Clark.

For the record, I'm rooting for Lawrence Co to win it. They really play hard. Fun to watch

But those are the only two teams in that region that have a realistic chance to win state. Yes they are the top two teams in the state but the 11th has two of the top 10 teams in the state, they have 3 of the top 20 and LexCath has proven they can compete with the top teams in their region. Add in familiarity with one another and you could see a team like Henry Clay knock off Scott County early in the tournament and things hit the fan. I don't feel like the 7th has that team that could knock off Ballard or Trinity like the 11th does. If I am Ballard and Trinity I am grateful I am not in the 11th this year.

 

Everything you say here is spot-on. I just put more weight in the fact that the 7th Region has the two teams that are pretty much the consensus top two in the state.
