Where do you put in. I have always put in at Alligator 1 or 2. I haven't been down there in several years. I'm thinking real seriously about going down on the eighth. Gotta find someone to go with me. My wife is going to Vegas, so it's my chance.

We always fish out of Grider Hill. But they're blasting some of the hill away on the side to widen the ramp, so that may be fun. They had to widen it to make easier passage for the buckeyes that can't even begin to back a trailer down the hill.

I'll tell you what, I'll give you a fishing report. We will fish this Friday Saturday and some early Sunday, so I should be able to give you an update.

Good luck!!!!!!!!!!!!

With the weather coming, I rearranged my schedule and postponed til next thursday night. I'm not battling the wind and rain with the threat of a tornado. I'm eager, not stupid.

There, fixed that for you.:)

Said the guy who will have to spend the weekend at some demolished tornado alley making sure all the safety precautions are followed to the letter.

Do what I can to help the cause brother...just do what I can.:D

That's what I'm hoping. And if they are worried about how long it's gonna take to get to full pool, well, this little band of weather probably made that pretty easy. :thumb:

It's filling up at a pretty good rate!

Well, the lake is full. And I'm talking freakin' full. The last weeks rain made the creeks coffee stained. Water temp actually went down a couple of degrees. Sure hoping the next weekend doesn't bring the rain/storm that was forecast and looks like that's been downgraded. A nice warm week will be welcome down there. Needs to clear up before it gets better. Nearly got blown off the lake yesterday. Tough fishing. Caught some small fish and one solid smallmouth. Overall, tough day. I got up today, wind picked up and I packed her in. Headed to the house. Goin back in 2 weeks. I'd suggest any of you who are in the mood, hit it in the next couple of weeks, cause it's on the verge of being prime.

Looking at 80's and up to 85 degrees this week, maybe that will help.
