Looks like pretty good balance for Holmes.

How big are those players?

McClendon 5'10

Bolden 6'0

Housely 6'0

Glover 6'2

Hill 6'5

Chames 6'5

Didn't score but the following players also gave good mins tonight:

6'2 Arnold

6'5 Avery

That's really shooting it well for the Bulldogs. Tough to beat when you shoot like that. They are starting to get more balanced scoring. The Royals went to the line a lot. Much more than most teams against Holmes. Were they penetrating or was it on their 2nd shots? They left some easy points there.

Most of the fouls were from Holmes going for blocks and being aggressive. Very few fouls out on the perimeter.

Mason Co rebounded well tonight at both ends, but especially on the offensive end. 16 O 16 D

Hill and Housely stepped up their game tonight. McClendon had some nice drives to the basket in second half. The young man is quick. It appeared Bolden was working on his assists rather than his scoring in second half. Good to see more scoring distribution.

Looks like Mason County did a pretty good job on Bolden. Did they play man or zone?

They did OK. Bolden didn't seem to be looking for his shot as much.

One key point was when O'Mara picked up his second foul in the second quarter. 27-23 at the time. Quickly escalated and basically it was over.

A mix between zone and m2m.

Chames also dealt with foul trouble last night, only playing 9 mins in the first half. 24 total for the game.

#35 is Junior Jake O'Mara

#24 (who didn't score in this game but played very well against Covcath during the preseason scrimmage) is Greenhill

Quarterback.

He's bulked up a lot from last year to this year.

Royals will need him big-time if they want to have post-season success.

He lit Covcath up from outside when I saw him at SK in the Kelsey Sorrell Scrimmages.

MC will be tough next year with Williams in the soph class and that deep JR class of Henry, D Johnson, Thomas, O'Mara, and R Johnson.
