Lousiville Football Schedule 2014

Featured Replies

Schedule is very tough adding the ND factor into it. How often will each team in the ACC play ND? Basically that is a non conference mandated game for teams in the ACC correct?

Yes; it was part of the deal allowing ND to join the league in all other sports.

I think it's four teams per year, resulting in a cycle that means every team in league will play the Irish home and away over a seven-year period.

But that was a team with Teddy Bridgewater. Will be hard for a 1st year starter getting thrown to the fire right away.

They have Petrino, no worries for UL, they don't need a qb.

My concern is for the defense, not the offense. Petrino will do fine with guys like Gardner and Bolin to take over at QB. I think with all the hoopla over Bridgewater, people have forgotten just how highly regarded a recruit Will Gardner was in high school.

The real question is whether having all these guys learn a new defense in spring practice will take hold in time for the season to start in September.

Is that a link to a beautiful 2014 ACC helmet schedule?

2014 ACC Schedule

Why yes, yes it is.

Quick schedule note:

-Miami's expected starting QB, Ryan Williams, suffered a torn ACL in spring practice and will be out all season. It's looking like a redshirt freshman will be directing the offense when the Hurricanes open the season in Louisville.

Spring game is Friday night.

We were going to smack Miami regardless. Now, we definitely will.

UL finally has a tough schedule. Almost and SEC schedule, almost.

Yeah so if we go 2-10 for years at a time we have an excuse...

Hoping for nice weather. If so, I'm going to try and make it. Had a lot of fun last year. Wish it was on a Saturday during the day again.

Last year's was definitely fun.

The fact that teams were coming off a Sugar Bowl and a National Championship certainly helped get everyone excited this time last year.

Easy now. Will be nothing like the bowl game. Miami always looks good to start the season. Should be much improved.

Should be much improved.

Based on what?

The turning point of the season will be after the FSU game. IMO I think we get thumped by the Winston and the seminoles. Hopefully that doesnt demoralize a young team against BC and ND.
