Hopkinsville Trey Edwards has to be in everyones top 5, give W. Ky some love!

 

Is he Hoptown's best player? I've heard he was playing well, but Matlock was getting the majority of the hype in the preseason.

Also, how does he compare with Simmons of Henderson Co?

 

I look forward to watching the Tigers on Saturday in the Joe B Hall Classic.

Edwards is a very good player, but I wouldn't put him in the top ten in the state. He definitely should be in the discussion for top 20 though. He has had to play in the shadow of higher hype players (Matlock and Majors) and has not received the looks he probably deserves.

He is the MVP of HHS. He is fun to watch as he gives it is all every game. He reminds me of the Edmonson kid from UHA several years ago. He playes in the Western part of the state so he ges no love from the big city press. Murray St is all over him!

We definitely don't get as much info on WKY players as I would like. I'm always glad for the opportunity to see the top teams from the first few regions, so it'll be a treat to have them in Montgomery Co on Saturday.

Should be a great game to watch. There are several good young players in W Ky this year. UHA has a couple of great young kids that will need to be watched but by far Edwards is the cream of the crop this season. Lot of good basketball to be played the rest of the year!
