Seen some on Twitter calling it an interception and not a fumble.

That's inaccurate because he had possession of the ball and it was striped thus being a fumble.

You know, it often crosses my mind that the Niners would be better off with Alex Smith.

Brooks wasn't good enough for the Bengals.

Some high level football going on here in the last few minutes. Yeesh.

I agree. Why I'm not high on the 49ers.

As of now Kaep hasn't done anything more than what Alex did. Not really sure I see the major upgrade.

Critical 3rd and 2 and Crabtree with the alligator arms. He gets the postgame V award while the rest of his teammates are laying all on the line.

No chance I take Smith over Tattonick. Just sayin'.

My opinion is that for everything he gives them there are things he takes away. I think they made the choice based on what they saw as potential. But the problem is that outside of his running he doesn't give them much. If you force him to be a passer, he is rife with weaknesses. Primarily, he is just absolutely terrible at going through progressions. He locks in on a single read and gets tunnel vision.

It may not matter, but Crabtree gave up getting out of bounds and saving a timeout for absolutely no yards.
