Trust me, Starks. 9th region fans do not hold back on 9th region officials.

So they are just always mad then? :lol2:

Isn't it a universal feeling that officials make bad calls?

No this was more than bad ref's. This is safety of players

I said that is unfortunate. Did the Dixie coach try to engage with the refs and express his concern for his team's safety?

Unfortunately it is. I can't remember the first time I heard fans say that the refs did a great job.

Is there video for "us" to see.....yes or no!!!!! This would solve much of the "scuttlebutt" here.

Not that I am aware but I will see what I can do.

All I am hearing is the negative aspect of bad ref's! Didn't a kid score 43pts. (Ruckel) in this contest. Why didn't Dixie secure the game with a 21 pt. lead.Where is the positives and negatives on each team? Where were the coaches in this contest to allow all this to happen? Seems like a lot of sour grapes and a great finish of a 2ot game.I thought these threads are game related not Referees turning the blind eye.Refs on the road at any venue are going to make calls against the visiting team. It's the way it is. If it was that blaitant then the visiting team should turn in video of this contest to put those ref's on alert.

I know that some of the comments are completely false. The 7 police officers are completely wrong, I would have been the one to call them!! This game is the same as most, it never once got to the point it was "weird". Never out of control!! As for the technical that should have been called for pushing Hatton, completely judgement. The Lewis player was called for he foul for reaching in, Hatton pulled away and the Lewis players extended, not hard, not flagrant, not even sure they touched Hatton. Could it have been called a T, could have, but there was nothing dirty, hard, or "weird" about it. I am trying to give an honest view of the game. I will tell you if I think it was bad. It was ok, some calls could have been called or reversed, Both Ways!!! I can say this, if this was the worse game that they have had called, they shouldn't have lost any games yet!!

A kid did score 43 from what I hear. Don't know how many may have been from the stripe though.

A 21 pt lead can disappear if fouls go against the team with the lead. Although I wasn't there so it may have just been Dixie being careless with the ball and taking bad shots. :idunno:

Well Said, an exactly right!!! It was a great game, Lewis played hard. It was one of those games that Dixie was the better team but didn't play like it, Lewis played harder and played like an underdog giving everything they had!!!

So we hear this early :

He said the fans were outwardly flipping off and cursing at the Dixie fans and even challenging some to fights. 7 extra police officers were called in towards the end of the game. When Rabe got tackled at half court and there was no call the Dixie bench almost emptied onto the floor, but calmer heads prevailed.

He said one of the refs was literally missing teeth and talked like he had the reading level of a 3rd grader.

Then we hear posters say that Lewis fans were respectful and that there were 4 officers at the gym all day, none were called. And I know every official in the 16th region and I'm certain they have teeth and are all more educated than their accusers. Heaven forbid that Lewis had won. I can't imagine the whining and moaning then.

Great game by the Ruckel boy, sad it gets lost in all of the trash from up north.

If they had 4 officers there and 7 were called in, does Vanceburg even have 11 officers? But I digress.....

Dem good ol' boys coming out in force now ya'll!
