  1. A few stats for the game.... 2. For Lewis, Ruckel had 30, Holder 19, Walker 14 Stewart for Fleming had 35
  3. Ruckel had 7 threes including the game winner. Great game to watch, Crawford and Ruckel put on a good offensive display the second half. Ruckel was definetly behind the arc and barely got it off, one parent from Lewis had it taped. Officiating was questionable all night long, but you can't take anything away from these 2 teams as they battled hard. Congrats Lions!!
  4. Had 6 police officers at the game tonight, but we were playing Russell. Past history has not always been good between these two teams.
  5. There were 4 officers at the game again last night and the sheriff was there in street clothes.
  6. Final score was 74-45!! 38-14 at halftime.
  7. Well Said, an exactly right!!! It was a great game, Lewis played hard. It was one of those games that Dixie was the better team but didn't play like it, Lewis played harder and played like an underdog giving everything they had!!!
  8. I know that some of the comments are completely false. The 7 police officers are completely wrong, I would have been the one to call them!! This game is the same as most, it never once got to the point it was "weird". Never out of control!! As for the technical that should have been called for pushing Hatton, completely judgement. The Lewis player was called for he foul for reaching in, Hatton pulled away and the Lewis players extended, not hard, not flagrant, not even sure they touched Hatton. Could it have been called a T, could have, but there was nothing dirty, hard, or "weird" about it. I am trying to give an honest view of the game. I will tell you if I think it was bad. It was ok, some calls could have been called or reversed, Both Ways!!! I can say this, if this was the worse game that they have had called, they shouldn't have lost any games yet!!
  9. It was the last game of the day. Get the game film and watch it.
  10. You got bad information, there were 4 police officers there, the were in and out of the gym all day. They were not called in!! The refs on this game are 3 of the top 8 in the 16th region. All 3 have done multipal regional tourney's and one has done the girls state. I would recommend you watching the tape before taking someone's word!!
  11. I was at the game also, it got a little intense at times. The only play I agree that should have been a foul called was on the loose ball and the Lewis player jumped on top. If you thought this was a badly called game, you need to stay in the 9th region. There was certainly some calls that could have been made, both ways. What has failed to come out is that a Lewis player was t'd up early in the game and the coach never put him back in. As for the players both arms getting pulled down, no way, could there have been a foul called, possibly. This game in no way was completely one sided!! It was a game where Dixie thought they had a cake walk and ran into a Lewis team that played harder. For the video being sent to the KHSAA, your coach would have that option, I doubt he thinks it warrants that though!!
