We're going a different direction with "Inside the 10th Region" this week. Rather than recap the week that was, we're going to provide our mid-season All 10th Region teams, as well as give you our newly released 10th Region Rankings. And this week, we're ranking the entire Region as opposed to just the Top 10 teams.

1st Team All 10th Region (Mid-Season)

Brent Bach - 6'1" Sr. Augusta (Panthers have struggled of late, but Bach has been outstanding all year)

Alex Trentman - 6'7" Sr. Bishop Brossart (Versatile big man averaging 19.9 ppg & 7.9 rpg)

Bryan Wallace - 6'0 Sr. Montgomery County (Dynamite guard a big reason why MoCo is undefeated)

Shawn Johnson - 6'7" Sr. Mason County (Consistent big man putting up similar numbers as last year)

Corey Holbrook - 5'11" Sr. Campbell County (Camels have balance, but Holbrook remains the go-to-guy)

 

 

2nd Team All 10th Region (Mid-Season)

DeAnte Cisero - 6'6" Sr. Montgomery County (Athletic forward is a difference maker down low)

Drew Burns - 6'7" Sr. Bishop Brossart (As dominating a post presence as you'll find in the 10th)

D.J. Jenkins - 6'2" Jr. Harrison County (Has been impressive succeeding Scott Kendall at PG)

Damion King - 5'6" Jr. George Rogers Clark (Arguably the 10th's biggest surprise plays like he's 6'3")

Austin Crawford - 6'1" Fr. Bracken County (21.8 ppg, but doesn't play like the freshman he is)

 

 

3rd Team All 10th Region (Mid-Season)

 

Blake Schneider - 5'11" Jr. Scott (Effective back court scorer for Carr's Eagles)

Darius Jones - 6'5" Sr. Montgomery County (The 10th's most athletic player)

Tyler Newton - 5'11" Jr. Nicholas County (Deadly perimeter scorer for upstart Nicholas)

Dre Jackson - 6'2" Jr. Campbell County (Crafty scorer should only get better)

Dillon Pulliam - 6'3" Sr. Harrison County (Swingman does a lot of things & does them well)

I'm biased, but I think that Lance Jones from Pendleton Co deserves to be on that 3rd team. Thing is...all of the kids RP have listed do as well.

I've not seen him in the regular season, but Jones has had a nice year for Pendleton even though the team has struggled some.

Definitely have struggled...they really needed that win Friday night. It'll be interesting to see how they respond tomorrow night against Robertson Co.

I think a couple of them could make D-1 rosters, but I think if they want to be key contributors to their respective teams they are better off going D2, D3, NAIA.

 

However, there are other BGPers who can assess things like this far better than I can.

As LCD said, you can make a case for a lot of players to be on these teams & Piersawl is one of them. Blanton from GRC, Thompson from Harrison County, Ohmer from Scott, Wilson from Campbell County, Jones from Pendleton County, etc.

What offers ( not interest) do these kids already have? I know Trentman has a full ride offer to a D2 school. I also think grades may hinder others from playing at D2 or higher schools? I'm not real familiar with some of the kids from the southern part of the region.
