Quentin Goodin Recruiting

Featured Replies

Taylor County soph guard Quentin Goodin will visit UK for the Tennessee game.

His coach says IU is in touch with him "almost daily."

UL made their first contact.

Xavier absolutely LOVES him. He was supposed to come up NYE for the St John's game for a visit but the logistics couldn't be worked out due to the early start.

Visiting Indiana next week for the Michigan game, per Evan Daniels.

Kansas State has offered.

Congratulations to Mr. Goodin. Sounds like major offers will be rolling in soon.

If this kid can play at K State, he had better improve the next two years, I just do*nt know about some of the schools offering so early to some of these underclassmen..

Offers as a freshman and soph are basically prospective offers based on upside. They can go away as quickly as they're given out. Goodin is a really good player, but he has a ways to go. As do all the younger kids. He'll be fine. He's definitely a D1 guy.

Averaging 7 ppg, 4 rpg for the St Louis Eagles in the EYBL right now. Playing with Jayson Tatum definetly doesn't hurt is exposure.

Maybe yes and maybe no, but it will show he is not in the same league as Tatum, this is like comparing apples and oranges.....

There aren't more than 10 guys in the country on the level of Tatum as a scoring wing.

But if running down a high school kid is your thing, have at it...

Some guys like to put them on a pedestal, some guys like to call it as it is......I just think it would be better for all concerned if the college coaches left the HS underclassmen alone.....

And some guys like to tear KIDS down. Get in where you fit in...

Why would anyone compare Goodin to Tatum? Goodin is a 2 guard (top 50) and Tatum (top 5) can play 4 positions if he wants. Tatum is in the Andrew Wiggins mold. Two entirely diff players. Compare to Seventh Woods if must as he has the most upside to me of any guard in that class.

Well then let's hear it Mr "Real World". Please share your detailed evaluation of Goodin's game and what level he will end up playing at. You seem awful confident you know what a high major guard doesn't look like, so get to work.

Reality is you have said very little to this point. Step it up...
