Does anyone have any details on this years tourney? Teams? Times? Favorites?

Holmes/Holy Cross 12/26 at 2:40

Winner plays St.Henry who has a bye

 

Game 2

NCC/Bellevue 12/26 at 4

 

Game 3

Ryle/Brossart 12/26 at 5:20

 

Game 4

SimonKenton/LaSalle at 12/26 at 6:40

 

Game 5

Holmes/HC winner vs St.Henry 12/26 at 8

 

Games on 12/27 and 12/28 with the finals at 2pm

 

Ive seen Ryle,Brossart,St.Henry and NCC.

NCC is the best of that bunch with Ryle not far off. I'd imagine Lasalle would have a pretty solid group.

If the Fleming kid plays freshman ball, LaSalle will be very good. But I can't imagine he plays frosh.

What does Brossart look like and does Ryle have kids playing up? I have a hard time believing NCC is better if they have everybody down.

Also is this a one and out tournament?

Brossart is a young group of players still maturing and still learing the system and the game. We own a 19 point win over St. Henry, but have taken losses to Lloyd, Bracken County, and Dixie - teams that have been playing together for awhile. I'm thinking Ryle could be a tough challenge for us. We have no freshmen moved up.

Ryle has a solid team and have all of their freshman playing on the freshman team. NCC is a little bigger (they start 6'2" Moeves at the point, Freppon is good and have a 6'4" Werk? in the middle.) Ryle has Cheeseman at the point, O'hara on a wing, a decent inside player that moved in from ohio 6'1"ish.

If SK had or has all their freshman playing, they have a very good group.

Trey Wurtz, his mom is a Freppon. NewCath frosh have size and speed.

When I saw NCC they had a kid named Brian running the point and Moeves was running the 2 or 3.

 

Ryle also has Jared Webster?? I think is his name big kid with a nice inside and out game.

I thought Chris Englmon's younger brother was an 8th grader? First name is Ravay (sp?). Last name might not be Englemon but have heard his younger brother is really good. Plays JV too.

I'm assuming it is his older brother Ryan a junior that starts for Christian Brothers University?

He is having a great year for the Bucs.
